The Hickey story

Built in Pittsburgh. Built to last.

In 2009, Hickey Contracting & Roofing opened its doors in Pittsburgh — a market where the local building code rules every roof and most contractors won't touch the work. They couldn't find a roofer willing to consistently meet the five-year warranty's standards, so they built one.

After a string of coastal projects that passed inspection the first time, Hickey has held those same standards on every job. Today Joe leads the company as owner, backed by a crew with over 40 years of combined experience serving Pittsburgh-area cities — but the rule from day one hasn't changed: every roof installs to the toughest standard in the state, regardless of where it sits.
